Whether the passenger is elderly, disabled, or has a condition that prevents them from driving, we treat them with the utmost care.
We work with your medical providers to ensure you will have a ride to all your appointments.

North Country Transport uses vans that are fully equipped for wheelchairs. We'll pick you up at your front door and safely and comfortably transport you to your destination.
Whether it's a medical appointment or a recreational activity, we'll ensure you're there on time.
We have rear wheelchair-accessible vans with space for up to 4 passengers.

Transportation is arranged by appointment only, with minimum of 24 hours advance notice preferred.
North Country Transport, LLC is registered with the state of Idaho and is fully covered with $1 million commercial passenger transportation insurance policy.
North Country Transport operates 6 days a week M-Sat. Call if you need a ride on Sunday and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Our plan is to be as transparent as possible with our rate schedule. Fee for service is calculated by distance traveled and waiting time. Our rates are calculated to be as affordable as possible and are subject to change.
Our base rate is $45 with the first 15 miles free, then $1.40 per loaded mile (subject to change without notice due to insurance and fuel price changes). Flat rate discount available for regularly scheduled repeat appointments (dialysis, PT) or trips over 100 miles. Attendant rides free. Waiting time is $15 per half hour, with the first half hour free.
Special flat rate of $25 per Round Trip for 5 miles surrounding the Bonners Ferry area when round trip is completed within one hour.
Payment is accepted at the completion of the trip- cash, Visa/Mastercard credit/debit, Zelle, Venmo and other online forms of payment are all accepted. For repeated medical trips to the same location (therapy, treatments, etc), billing arrangements can be made.
We operate minivans- our Honda Odyssey comes with a rear-access ADA compliant heavy-duty wheelchair ramp outfitted by Vision Mobility. This setup features a self-tightening 4 corner restraint system with a separate restraint for the wheelchair passenger.
Our vans can accommodate up to 3 additional passengers along with the wheelchair passenger. We have a fire extinguisher, first aid kit and other safety equipment in the vehicle if needed.
Safety of clients and drivers is paramount. All passengers must be able to sit safely in the van with a safety restraint in place for the duration of the trip. If cognitive or physical impairments make this impossible, then alternative transportation arrangements will be required.
All drivers are certified in First Aid and CPR. If a medical emergency occurs en route to the destination, the driver will proceed to the closest hospital ED or call 911, whichever is deemed appropriate.
Our service is designed to provide safe and comfortable transportation door-to-door. If you or a loved one has an appointment at a physician’s office or hospital, our driver will be happy to accompany you inside and wait until you get where you need to go. Please have an attendant or family member available to assist beyond this.
